International Youth Day

August 12 was first designated as International Youth Day by the UN General Assembly in 1999, as an annual holiday celebrating the potential of young people as partners in today's global society. In the Republic of Moldova, almost every third person is young and aged between 14-35 years. Harnessing their full potential and investing in the development and involvement of young people can bring about major changes and contribute to the well-being of the entire society.
