The Grants Program for youth organizations, 2024 edition, has been launched

The Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Youth have launched the Grants Program for youth organizations, 2024 edition. The program is dedicated to the support and development of the youth sector in the Republic of Moldova, through which logistical support and financially for the implementation of youth initiatives and projects. The announcement was made during a press conference held by the Secretary of State Sergiu Gurin and the director of the National Youth Agency Ion Donea.

"The total amount allocated for the Grants Program for youth organizations for the year 2024 is about 10 million lei. We want the projects that will be submitted to align with the priority directions provided in the Youth Sector Development Strategy "Youth 2030", said Sergiu Gurin.

Ion Donea presented the eligibility criteria, the priorities of the grant program for the following year, as well as the conditions for selecting the winners.

"Non-commercial youth organizations in the country that carry out projects and programs with an impact for young people, have co-financing, partnership agreements from various institutions and local or international donors and can ensure their own contribution of at least 20 percent can participate in the contest. from the value of the project", stated Ion Donea.

The applying organizations will be able to submit projects with a maximum budget of 200,000 lei for local projects, 400,000 lei for regional projects and 600,000 lei for national projects. For national projects with subgrants, files can be submitted with a maximum budget of 1,000,000 lei.
